WHY ANOTHER CHURCH?

We believe that God reaches out to all people regardless of background, age, sex, color, or music style. Since God has made the people of the world so diverse, His church must be also. We believe God is gathering a generation of people to worship Him and honor Him in their own language and in their own style. Jesus is able to meet people right where they are and relate to them regardless of what they think of Him. The reputation of Jesus and the Church is definitely tarnished and battered. Most people think of church as a place that wants their money and wants to make them feel guilty about the life they lead. We strive to be different. We want to be a community that welcomes others to come and seek God, regardless of their past experiences with Jesus or the Church. We believe that Jesus is gentle, kind, and approachable. We hope to be the same.

WHAT IS A SERVICE LIKE?

"Come as you are and you'll be loved." On any given Sunday there are all types of people in our church. We dress normally (like what you would wear if hanging out with friends), we talk normally (try not to use strange religious words), we worship together (we sing songs to God), we study His Word (we apply the Bible to our daily lives), and we pray together (we talk to God). We try as hard as we can to not be religious or simply follow a bunch of rules, but to actually connect with God in a real way. We believe that Jesus is alive and active and really interacts with people here and now. We don't need to talk about Him like He is in another room, He is more than willing to come and reveal Himself to us. We simply try and make an environment where normal people can meet with God.
